Title I Teacher

Learn It Systems is looking for part-time teacher. We currently have an opening in for the 2022/2023 school year. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need. You will be working at two private schools in Newark and Nutley, New Jersey. 

In this position, you would be a part of an educational team consisting of a fellow educators, Program Aide, and Area Manager. This team works with school districts to deliver the highest-quality education services in reading, mathematics and/or writing to students in a small group/ one on one learning environment. As an Academic Intervention Teacher you will be implementing program components and work closely with school personnel and parents. As a Learn It System teacher, you'll need to have experience teaching or tutoring.  The programs will be held in-school, tutoring reading and math for grade levels rangesing from K to 8th. 

Mon and Tues 8:50-2:10,

Wed 10:20-2:10.

• Part-time position 
• Bi-Lingual Perferred
• Active and valid teaching certificate preferred or subsitute teacher certificate 
• Fingerprinting by Department of Education required
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs
• Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head
• Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer
