After School Tutor

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Academic Tutors to support students in Chester, PA. As a tutor, you will play a key role in helping students achieve academic success by providing individualized and small-group instruction in various subjects. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in mathematics and/or reading for grades three (3) through eight (8).
• Develop personalized learning plans to address students' strengths and areas for improvement.
• Assist students with homework, test preparation, and overall comprehension of course materials.
• Track and assess student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and educators as needed.
• Implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to enhance learning.
• Foster a supportive and motivating learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

• Teaching/Tutoring experience required
• Must be comfortable tutoring math and reading
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field highly preferred; must have completed at least 60 semester credits from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student success.
• Reliable transportation to and from tutoring locations.
